Card payments

Monarch shows your card balances, but its Statements card, meant for credit card and loan payments, says “Coming soon”. Wingspan fills it in: each card’s statement, when it’s due, and whether checking can pay it on that day.

Recurring's Statements card filled in with three credit cards, each with its due date, statement amount and whether checking can pay it.Recurring's Statements card filled in with three credit cards, each with its due date, statement amount and whether checking can pay it.
  • Each card’s statement balance and due date.
  • Whether checking can pay it in full on that day, only part of it, or not even the minimum, while keeping the amount you set aside in checking.
  • The minimum payment, from Monarch, or estimated by Wingspan when Monarch doesn’t have one.
  • When a statement is paid. It counts as paid only once nothing is left on it.
  • What’s still owed across your cards this month, and whether checking covers it.

A card you pay but haven’t linked in Monarch can still be tracked, by the payments that leave checking for it.

  1. On Recurring, choose Add recurring → Add manually, then Card payment, and pick the card.
  2. On Cash Flow, open Edit cash and cards to choose which accounts are checking and how much to keep there.
